Issun Boshi

ISSUN BOSHI

Once upun a time, at small village in Japan, lived a family in the bad bamboo house. This family didn’t have children. Se, they always went to temple to pray and hope God gave them a child, althoug as big as little finger. And finally, because of their diligence to pray everyday, God gave them a son. But their son wasn’t normaly. Their son’s big like their little finger. But they were undisappointed. They were thankful because God gave a son for them. Their son named Issun Boshi.

Until 12 years old, Issun Boshi’s body was not bigger than when he born. And because his small body, his friends always mocked him. But behind his small body, he has abilities. He was very clever, he can dancing and because Issun Boshi was friendly, more people like with him.

Issun Boshi care with problem society. One day, he asked permission to his father and mother to went to Kyoto, central of Japan Kingdom, to helped his village. He went to Kyoto brought a bowl and chopstick only, because his family didn’t have anything to made his . Then, his family said good luck for him.

On the way, he found a river and he thouhgt if he sailed on this river, maybe he came to Kyoto faster than. So, he used his bowl as ship and his chopstick as oar. He followed the river flow until he arrived in Kyoto. When he arrived, he went to land and he walked to the palace. He used his bowl as hat to covered him from sunlight.

Next day, he arrived in the palace. At here, Issun Bishi want to found experience and worked in the palace. The King interested with Issun Boshi personality. And then, he approved Isshun Boshi to worked in his palace.

One day, the King asked Issun Boshi to accompanied his daughter, Putri, to went to temple. Putri felt, Issun Boshi was best friend. On the way, Issun Boshi always made her laugh with his stories. But, her laugh stopped when they arrived in the temple. In the yard, somebody want to broke the temple. People afraid, ran, and didn’t brave to throw out the broker.

“Hey! Get out from this place! You disturb people praying in here!” said Issun Boshi, angry with the broker.

“What? What can you do with your small body? Hahaha....” And then, the broker captured Issun Boshi and they fought with him. Finally, Issun Boshi can throw out the broker.

Putri said thank you to Issun Boshi because he was throw out the broker. And Putri gave him a stick. This stick can answer Issun Boshi request. Issun Boshi accept the stick. “Putri, I have one request. I wanna my body became like general people.”

And then, Issun Boshi’s body changed। His body became normaly. Issun Boshi felt happy with this miracle. Putri felt happy too. But, saw Issun Boshi after his body changed made Putri fell in love with Issun Boshi. Issun Boshi felt too. And finally, they married. Isuun Boshi didn’t forget with his father and mother in his village and his neighbour. So, he invited his parent to lived in the palace and their life happy.

Gili

GILI

In the winter season, population of snake usually live in the cave. They were disappearing from cold weather. They also made community and new family. This snake came from some species; cobra, python, anaconda, desert snake, etc. They called themselves predator group. You must remember, they were dangerous species and they had sting. So, sometimes they can fought because of their food.

One afternoon, in the summit of winter, a little snake came into cave of predator group. This snake felt cold. It’s name was Gili. Gili didn’t have sting. So, Gili wasn’t predator snake. Gili was tree snake. It has green-gold body. Gili was cute snake and it didn’t like to fight. But, Gili came into wrong nest. It’s life treattened with the predator group. Oooh... unlucky snake!

Gili was approaching the cave. It felt more cold and it was convincing it’s self to took shelter in that cave. “Waw, in this cave so warm. I feel enjoy here.” Gili said. But, after that, Gili shocked by rustle voice. Gili was panic beause this cave very dark and Gili can’t saw origin of this voice. The rustle was approaching Gili. It was not ore rustle voice, but some rustle voice. Gili afraid. “Oh, it is cobra, python, anaconda, and desert snake’s voice.”

Right! Gili’s felt was true. Suddenly, python and cobra showed from left of Gili. Then, anaconda anf desert snake showed from right. Gili very afraid!

“Hey, look! Who is come here?” python said. Anaconda answer with showed it’s teeth. It’s long tongue want to lick Gili’s body. “Owh, delicious food, come here, please!” it said happy. “Woe, yummy! It’s meat very delicious, I think.” Anaconda wrapped Gili with it’s tail. And then, desert snake said with opened it’s mouth, “Ehm, tree snake. I like it!”

Gili just silent, but it also tried found way out to escape from their threat. And Gili has brilliant idea. It said to four snakes, “I know, you will not let me go from here. Snake like me will lose with you.”

“Alright! So, be quite, please!” said cobra didn’t patient.

“But, you know if I like you. We are snake! We are one family! So, why you want to eat me?”

“Aargh.... we don’t care you are snake or no. You are weak snake. So, we can eat you.”

“OK, you can eat me. But, my small body won’t enough for you.”

“Uhm, that’s right!”

“So, only the greatest snake between you, can eat me.”

Then, after heard it’s suggestion, four snakes fought to got Gili’s body। But their fought unless. They were dead because their sting and poison. And finally, Gili was free and Gili was grateful because it didn’t have sting and it made it’s life peaceful.
